Please note the testing dates for the 2025 Pennsylvania System of School Assessments (PSSA).  The PSSA Exams are end-of-course assessments designed to evaluate proficiency in academic content. Students in grades 3-5 will be assessed on their proficiency of English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics.  Additionally, students in grade 4 will be assessed on their proficiency of Science.  All vacation requests that correspond with PSSA testing dates will be marked unexcused absences. 2025 Test Dates: Grades 3, 4, 5 ELA:   April 23-25 Grades 3, 4, 5 Math:   April 29, 30 Grades 4 Science:  May 1 Grades 3, 4, 5 Make-Up:  April 28, May 2 - May 9 Note:  Students who require make up testing will test daily until sections of all materials are complete

5th Grade Tour of Southern Middle School

5th grade students will tour Southern Middle School in preparation for the next school year.
