See glorious gardens created and maintained by gardeners like you at the Scott Associates’ Garden Day. Stroll through gardens in Chadds Ford and Glen Mills to be inspired, learn about plant combinations, and get gardening tips. This is a great opportunity to see firsthand how gardens grow in the greater Philadelphia area. Admission is free for members of the Scott Associates.  Scott Associates will be mailed the Garden Day booklet in June with complete details. For non-member tickets, pick up a Garden Day booklet at the Scott Arboretum & Gardens offices. Tickets can be purchased at the garden of your choosing. Step into the lush greenery of the Crum Woods for an exclusive members-only foraging hike led by Sue MacQueen, Campus Engagement Manager and experienced forager. Open to all ages, this guided exploration will introduce you to plants thriving in our local ecosystem. During this hike, you’ll learn to identify seasonal wild foods, discover their traditional uses, and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural abundance around us. Whether you’re a seasoned forager or a curious beginner, this immersive walk offers a unique way to connect with nature and the changing landscape of summer. Along the way, we’ll discover native plants, listen to birdsong, and maybe even spot some woodland wildlife. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a first-time explorer, this is a great way to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of July in the woods! We recommend this hike for adults and children ages 5 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
