Most students apply to BCTC in 9th grade to begin in 10th, but there are also great options for students in 11th and 12th.• Students can gain work experience through work based learning, clinicals, and job shadowing.• The BCTC schedule allows you to still participate in sports and other activities in your district.• Students can earn free college credits while attending BCTC.FOR PARENTS: • Now is the time for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders to begin exploring their career interests.• If your child’s plans include college, technical school, or starting a career, BCTC will provide an excellent foundation for future success.• BCTC also offers Continuing Education programs for adults to upgrade their skills, earn certifications, participate in apprenticeships, or train for a new career. Courses are offered day or evening with flexible scheduling, and affordable pricing.

A representative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) will be at Wilson on December 8th to provide a presentation about Financial Aid options for families.  Families of seniors are also encouraged to stay after the presentation for a working session to complete your FAFSA, the free federal financial aid application.  This session may be especially helpful for families who have unique family or financial circumstances, who are going through the college app and financial aid process for the first time, or who have questions about the financial aid application and would like guided assistance as you complete it.5:30pm-6:00pm Financial Aid Information Presentation to all parents6:15pm-7pm FAFSA Completion Assistance for all interested 12th grade familiesLocation: TBD
