Local photographer and RWPC Program Manager José Ramirez (@jram9808 on Instagram) will offer his expertise and instruction before encouraging participants to explore and apply newly learned techniques to capture the beauty of the Park during the spring season! All you need is the camera on your phone. This workshop is open to ages 10+, and those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Discover the incredible journeys of migratory birds and learn how you can help protect them and their habitats. Museum admission is $2 | Free for Museum Members and children under age 4. Planetarium show (includes Museum Admission) is $5 | Free for Museum Members. Binoculars are not required but encouraged for animal sightings. Walk meets at the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium.  Recommended for ages 4 and older – families encouraged! Pets and strollers are not permitted. Program fee per session: $3 per person/free for museum members. Pre-registration preferred.

Free with admission to the Botanical Center. About Max ClarosMaximus Claros is a young drummer that has played jazz/funk all across Rhode Island. Claros performed on Lincoln Center Campus through the Jazz Arts Collective. He received a scholarship to play in NYC getting mentorship from many great musicians including Douglas Marriner, Kenny Washington, Charles McPherson, and Dion Parson. At 14 years old, Maximus was drumming in venues like Sons of Liberty, Chans, Bar and Board, and more. Now he’s bringing his trio to the Botanical Center to vibe with the plants, the people, and more.
