Mental Health MorningsFebruary 12 & March 14, 9-10 AMRoger Williams Park Botanical CenterJoin us for an hour of calm in the magical space of the Botanical Center with a relaxed session guided by heath expert Sandra Victorino, presented by the Roger Williams Park Conservancy. REGISTER ONLINE. Tickets are free but required in order to keep the group to a reasonable size (limit 15). The session runs one hour additional time spent in Botanical Center is encouraged but requires purchasing a ticket in person or online. Sandra Victorino has a private practice and is co-founder of the Latino Mental Health Network of Rhode Island. She has worked in the mental health field for 17 years. Her areas of interest in health care are access for all populations, health and mental health equity, and culturally and linguistically appropriate health services. In addition, her current work focuses on building leadership capabilities, diversity and inclusion, and developing and strengthening partnerships in our communities.

Planetarium ShowsEvery Saturday & Sunday, 2-2:30 PMDaily February 14-20, 1-1:30 PM and 2-2:30 PMRWP Museum of Natural History and PlanetariumLocated in the Museum of Natural History at Roger Williams Park, the Planetarium is a dome theater with a Zeiss projector that casts images of stars, planets and constellations to simulate the night sky. Sit back and journey through space in a planetarium show! The Planetarium also has a ASH Warped Media fulldome projector that showcases fulldome show offerings. Planetarium show offerings are on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm and during certain Monday holidays and school vacation weeks. Planetarium show tickets are recommended to be reserved online as availability is limited. Please CLICK HERE to purchase planetarium show tickets and for more information about show offerings. Planetarium shows lasts approximately 30 minutes. The Planetarium is only open during showtime. Private Planetarium shows and field trip programs are available. Please contact the Museum to learn more. IMPORTANT PLANETARIUM SHOW GUIDELINES:Tickets are recommended to be reserved online, including for Museum Members. Availability is limited. All sales are final.Everyone attending the planetarium show needs a ticket.Children must be age 4 or older those 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children must be supervised at all times.Phones must be silenced, and attendees should remain quiet during the show to help everyone enjoy the full experience.Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in, as doors close at showtime and will not reopen—no late entry is permitted for visitor safety once the show begins.
