This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Sullivan's Island. Living historians in period clothing will portray both Patriot and British soldiers and civilians to help visitors understand and learn about life in 1776.Events on Saturday run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.On Sunday, there will be a commemoration ceremony for the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Sullivan's Island from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.Events and activities will resume following the ceremony until 4:00 p.m.Join living historians for historic musket and artillery firing demonstrations.Join a park ranger or living historian to learn more about the Battle of Sullivan's Island.Walk up ranger and historical stations provide hands-on activities for visitors of all ages!
