Join us on May 13, 2026 for Spring Outing, a cherished tradition at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. This annual luncheon on the lawn supports the ongoing preservation and operation of this historic site. This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 125 years of Spring Outing alongside the 250th anniversary of the United States. It’s a moment to honor the visionary women who founded the Ladies’ Hermitage Association in 1889 and those who have carried its mission forward. This year, we are excited to have former CBS news anchor, Norah O’Donnell and author and historian, Kate Andersen Brower as our keynote speakers. They will be discussing their new book We The Women: The Hidden Heroes Who Shaped America, a groundbreaking book that uncovers the hidden heroines of American history – women who shaped the nation’s path but were long overlooked.

Sponsor an American flag in your name – or in honor of someone special – and help transform the grounds of Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage into a sea of stars and stripes between Memorial Day and Independence Day 2026. As part of this tribute, join us on Friday, May 22 from 2-3 p.m. for the Path of Glory Dedication Ceremony, celebrating the 250th anniversary of America’s founding. This outdoor event will feature keynote speaker Governor Bill Lee and highlight a striking display of 1,776 flags spanning the property in honor of this historic milestone. This ceremony is included with general admission to the site, and guests are encouraged to dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for walking. Email [email protected] to RSV. Tickets for this event are FREE. Regular ticket prices will still be in effect for Grounds Passes and Mansion Tours.
