We proudly welcome Dallas Children's Theater for a theatrical reading of "James and the Giant Peach" by Roald Dahl. Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach will be on stage at DCT starting April 19th.  Based on the beloved novel, the production follows young James Henry Totter's journey as his life changes when he accidentally grows a giant peach. With some new oversized friends, he goes on an epic adventure to New York City, on a quest for happiness. DCT will be visiting with us for a theatrical story telling of this beloved book that explores themes of overcoming fear, the ongoing battle of good vs. evil, and the value of friendship!

Get in character by wearing your favorite color as we go on a clue hunt throughout the library. Registration is not required but we will cap the game at 10 players. Adult "Art Class" is our new recurring art program which will teach a new technique or art form at the most basic level. This month we are learning about print making. We will learn a little bit about Japanese block printing as well as letter press printing methods and then we will make our own print "stencils" to print on watercolor paper and create a piece for you to keep. Supplies will be limited and first come, first served.
