DFW Writers' Workshop is eager to announce 2025 Writers Bloc guest speaker Gina Augustini Best! Her recently published first book, More Than Ivory, is a gripping YA suspense mystery. She'll be discussing how novel writing is like an endurance race. Gina is a Dallas-area writer and an award-winning former journalist. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a master’s degree in communication and media from Texas Tech University. She also completed The Writer’s Path, a novel-writing program at Southern Methodist University, in 2017.
