Honors the history, achievements, and rights of the disabled community.  It aims to reframe disability as a natural part of human diversity, push back against ableism, and promote equal opportunities and access. This month-long observation was first celebrated in Boston, Massachusetts in 2015 to mark the 25th anniversary of the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Due to construction impacts at CHS this year, we unfortunately had to postpone the District-wide Back to School Bash until the Summer of 2027. Instead, each campus will host their own "Bash", with school supply pickups, teacher introductions, and schedules available. This is also a great time to walk the campus, get to know new administrators, and settle in to the 2026-27 school year.
