All aboard for a journey into the past! Join us for Hands on History, a fun and engaging program where young explorers (ages 5–9) will discover how people traveled in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Through hands-on activities, children will step back in time to learn what life on the move looked like over a century ago. Enjoy tea and breakfast treats while learning about volunteer opportunities at the Stark Art & History Venues. This free event is open to both prospective and current volunteers.   At this Volunteer Tea Time, we will highlight the House Guide Program at The W.H. Stark House with a mini-lesson from Programs Coordinator Katherine Leister. She will review fun details that she has uncovered while researching the history of The W.H. Stark House. Volunteer applications and handbooks are available at these meetings, as well as the opportunity to schedule an orientation. We will meet at the Stark Museum of Art at 712 Green Avenue, Orange, TX.
