https://www.ponderisd.net/article/2771287 Ponder ISD is excited to welcome incoming kindergarten families to its upcoming Kindergarten Step Up: Ready, Set, Independence! event, designed to help young learners prepare for a successful start to their educational journey. The event will take place on Monday, March 30, from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. in the Lower Elementary Cafeteria, located at 400 W. Bailey Street. Families will begin the evening with an informational presentation focused on helping children build independence and confidence as they transition into kindergarten. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to tour classrooms, meet kindergarten teachers, and connect with other incoming students. In addition, several information tables will be available to support families with important next steps, including student registration, dual language program options, and a Q&A session. Take-home materials will also be provided to help families feel prepared for the upcoming school year. This event reflects Ponder ISD’s commitment to ensuring every child starts kindergarten ready to learn, grow, and thrive. Families of incoming kindergarten students are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about what to expect in the year ahead.
