It also makes a recommendation to the City Council for or against the adoption of all zoning and rezoning applications. The Planning and Zoning Commission meets approximately every 2-3 weeks. Submittals for this meeting are due by noon, April 8, 2025. Accept the ultimate donut challenge and join us for the 7th Annual Round Rock Donut Dash 5K on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. Warm up for the race at 6:45am at the starting line to get ready for a whirlwind of fun. Race starts in Downtown Round Rock at 7:00AM (No LATE start past 7:05am). In this unique event you’ll refuel with a mid-point pit stop for a donut (or a dozen!) from your favorite local donut shop. Join us for the post race after party at the finish line! Registration Now Open! Registration is available separately for individuals 11 years and under, and for individuals 12 years and over. 11 Years and Under: REGISTER HERE12 Years and Older: REGISTER HERE Register for the Challenger Division and put yourself to the ultimate test! Run half a 5k, eat a dozen donuts, and finish the run, all under one hour to complete the challenge!  We also will have a Casual Division for those who want to run the race and eat their donuts on their own time and a ZERO K Division for those who just want to eat donuts and cheer the racers on. SWAGRegistered participants get commemorative donut swag and a dozen donuts. Participants in the 12 & Up division receive a dozen donuts and 11 & under division get one dozen donut holes. Details: Free microchips for Round Rock residents (proof of residency required) while supplies last!Residents may bring up to 3 pets per household.For additional pets, please schedule a $5 microchip appointment with Animal Control.Dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in carriers.Non-residents can obtain microchips for a fee of $5.In addition, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter and Petco Love will be providing free vaccines while supplies last. Presented by Randy Michna, OSA Grounds Manager and Caretaker The Old Settlers Association of Williamson County was organized for the sole purpose of gathering fragments of history and to perpetuate them for future generations. The OSA proudly holds years of history on its property located at 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd. They offer educational programs to children throughout the year. The grounds are open daily for the public to see and enjoy a step back in history. As a sixth-generation Texan, Randy and his family have been a part of the Old Settlers Association since its origination in 1904. Randy will bring the history of the Old Settlers Association alive for this history program, highlighting the educational impact it had on Williamson County from its beginning to today.
