The Round Rock Police Department will once again team up with the U.S. Army to host our annual food drive benefiting the Round Rock Area Serving Center. Donations of nonperishable food items will be collected from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, at the following H-E-B locations in Round Rock: H-E-B, 250 University Blvd.H-E-B, 1700 East Palm Valley Blvd.H-E-B, 3750 Gattis School Rd.H-E-B, 603 Louis Henna Blvd.The Round Rock Area Serving Center provides food assistance to low-income individuals and families in crisis through its food distribution program. To wrap up the event, participants are invited to take part in a two-mile hike at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, starting at Sky Ridge Plaza (2000 S IH 35) and ending at the Serving Center. Participants will carry bags filled with donated food from the collection drive. The public is encouraged to join the hike alongside members of the Round Rock Police Department and the U.S. Army.

Join Round Rock Ballet Folklorico, along with Williamson County Hispanic Heritage Committee, City of Round Rock, and Univision for the twelfth annual Dia de Los Muertos Procession and Festival, from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025 at Centennial Plaza, 301 West Bagdad. Día de Los Muertos is a traditional Mesoamerican holiday dedicated to the ancestors it honors both death and the cycle of life. There will be activities for kids and art, craft and food vendors. Dress up in your finest Calaca, Frida, Selena or Prince apparel. The parade to Centennial Plaza begins at 5:10 p.m. at the corner of Round Rock Avenue and N. San Saba Street. The procession will end at Centennial Plaza. It also makes a recommendation to the City Council for or against the adoption of all zoning and rezoning applications. The Planning and Zoning Commission meets approximately every 2-3 weeks. Submittals for this meeting are due by noon, October 7, 2025. Following our annual food drive, the Round Rock Police Department and U.S. Army are proud to host the 2025 Hike for Hunger—a two-mile community walk from Sky Ridge Plaza (2000 S IH 35) to the Round Rock Area Serving Center, carrying bags of nonperishable food. We invite the community to join this effort alongside members of the Police Department and the U.S. Army. The hike will begin promptly at 9 a.m., so please arrive a few minutes early to get your bag ready. The Round Rock Area Serving Center supports low-income individuals and families in crisis through its food distribution program. The City of Round Rock’s Clay Madsen Recreation Center invites you to the 21st Annual Rockin’ Around the Holidays Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025. A variety of vendors will be present for you to start shopping for unique and handcrafted items. Admission is free but please bring a canned food item or boxes of colorful Band-Aids for the Children’s hospital. All Vendor Booth Spaces are FULL!At this time, we are no longer accepting vendor applications. Vendor InformationThe Holiday Bazaar is an opportunity for local and surrounding city exhibitors and crafters to sell and display their unique, hand-crafted and creative merchandise. This event is hosted by the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department. Additional services — including table, chair, corner booth and electricity — must be selected and paid for in advance and will not be available for purchase on the day of the show. Electricity is not available for outdoor booths. Vendors will be informed of acceptance/denial into the Holiday Bazaar. Do not assume that submission of application guarantees you a space in the Holiday Bazaar. Approved Booth applications will be contacted for payment. Booths will not be held or reserved without payment. Payment methods include cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.

All proceeds stay local and directly benefit Round Rock’s fire families.The Round Rock Fire Foundation is a community-based nonprofit created in June 2025 to provide behind-the-scenes support toward the well-being of local firefighters and their families.
