Every penny of the revenue generated at this event, either through ticket sales or sponsorships, goes directly to support Wylie Community Christian Care Center, Amazing Grace, 5 Loaves Food Pantry, and Hope for the Cities.

What is a butter board and how do you make one? Weâve partnered with Boards by B to pair your favorite Landon wines with this tasty, mouth-watering treat AND when weâre finished, you get to take home your wooden board to re-create your very own version! If youâre curious what a butter board even is, how much work goes into making a butter board or whether itâs simply more fun to just say âbutter boardâ than it is to actually make one, âBâ is here to answer all of your questions. Using a base of compound butters and spreadable cheeses, weâll drop on a number of toppings or mix-ins including herbs, nuts, seeds, fruit, radishes, honey, jam or even bits of smoked salmon or diced, cured meats â and serve it all up with toasted bread, crackers or any such vessel to help deliver this fancied-up concoction to your face. A butter board isnât complete without something fabulous to wash it down. Youâll taste your way through these savory and sweet bites with our selection of perfectly paired wines. The Summer Kick-Off Party is back on Friday, May 30, from 9:00 to 11:45 a.m. This annual event is a joint effort between the Smith Public Library and the Wylie Recreation Center. Enjoy bounce houses, an inflatable slide, trains, The Rad Hatter, BooCoos the Clown, food trucks, and so much more! Food is available for purchase. Youâll have the opportunity to talk to camp instructors at the Rec and get everything you need to know about summer reading at the library. This is an outdoor event, so please plan accordingly.
