Are you wanting to learn more about photography? Join park volunteer and professional photographer Emily Hedrick for a relaxed photo walk through the scenic trails around Timpanogos Cave National Monument.Whether you’re using a DSLR or just your smartphone, this walk is open to photographers of all levels who want to slow down, look closely, and capture the beauty of nature. We’ll focus on wildflowers, wildlife, and the stunning natural landscapes in the canyon—no cave photography required. Along the way, we’ll talk about the basics of outdoor photography, share tips on lighting and composition, and take time to simply enjoy what we see. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature and see the park through a new lens.All ages and experience levels are welcome. Meet Emily at the Visitor Center Plaza on Wednesday, June 25th at 6:00PM. Bring your curiosity, your camera, and a comfortable pair of shoes.

Come to a family-friendly program hosted by Great Basin Wildlife Rescue on Saturday, June 28th from 6:00-7:00PM at the Timpanogos Cave Visitor Center plaza. With a live bird to help demonstrate the differences, this program will be a fun and educational time for all ages. Attendance is free and all are welcome.

Junior Ranger Program with Utah's Hogle Zoo

Utah's Hogle Zoo will be the guest for a Junior Ranger program this Saturday, July 12th from 10:30AM to 11:15AM at the Swinging Bridge Picnic Area. Come learn more about Utah's native wildlife! There is no cost to attend and all are welcome.

Swinging Bridge Picnic Area - Go 2.4 miles up American Fork Canyon and park at the lot on the north side of the road. The program will be held at an open site in the picnic area.

Join us for a free fun night of dark sky education. We'll look at constellations, use telescopes, and talk about the ways in which dark--and light--affect our lives. You may arrive at any time between the listed hours. There will be activities for children before it gets dark and telescope viewing will begin as the stars begin to come out. The canyon is cold at night! Consider bringing one more layer than you think you need - especially for children. Red flashlights are welcome as they protect our night vision. Creating one can be a fun family activity before you arrive! This program is weather dependent and may be cancelled with short notice. Please follow the event or our page as that is where we will provide updates. The Pine Hollow Trailhead is 4.5 miles up-canyon from the Timpanogos Cave National Monument Visitor Center.This program is made possible through a partnership with the US Forest Service Pleasant Grove Ranger District and the Utah Valley Astronomy Club.Another Dark Sky Star Party will be held on August 30th.

The Pine Hollow Trailhead is 4.5 miles up-canyon from the Timpanogos Cave National Monument Visitor Center. It is on the right side after going up the second switchback. Stay to the right when the road splits instead of going left towards Tibble Fork

Who is coming to Timpanogos Cave National Monument? WHO? Maybe you! Plus a special feathered friend who says who too!Great Basin Wildlife Rescue is presenting a live bird program about owls and their adaptations this Saturday, August 2nd from 6PM to 7PM in the Timpanogos Cave Visitor Center Plaza. Come see a rescued owl and learn more about the adaptations they have to survive in the wild from the people who help take care of injured wildlife. Attendance is free.
