Come learn about bat anatomy and adaptations at this kid-friendly program where you get to build a fuzzy little bat friend to take home with you! The program will be held at Swinging Bridge Picnic Area from 10:30AM to 11:15AM on Saturday, August 23rd. This program is free and all are welcome to attend.

Swinging Bridge Picnic Area 2.4 miles up American Fork Canyon on the north side of the road.

Golden Eagle Presentation

Great Basin Wildlife Rescue is hosting an evening program this Saturday, August 23rd from 6PM to 7PM at the Visitor Center Plaza. Come learn more about these impressive canyon residents and see one up close for yourself. Attendance is free, and all are welcome. 

Timpanogos Cave Visitor Center Plaza. Park at the main parking lot on the south side of the side 2.5 miles up from the mouth of the canyon.

Junior Ranger Program with Utah's Hogle Zoo

Utah's Hogle Zoo will be the guest for a Junior Ranger program this Saturday, August 30th from 10:30AM to 11:15AM at the Swinging Bridge Picnic Area. Come learn more about Utah's native wildlife! There is no cost to attend and all are welcome.

Swinging Bridge Picnic Area - Go 2.4 miles up American Fork Canyon and park at the lot on the north side of the road. The program will be held at an open site in the picnic area.

Join us for a free fun night of dark sky education. We'll look at constellations, use telescopes, and talk about the ways in which dark--and light--affect our lives. You may arrive at any time between the listed hours. There will be activities for children before it gets dark and telescope viewing will begin as the stars begin to come out. The canyon is cold at night! Consider bringing one more layer than you think you need - especially for children. Red flashlights are welcome as they protect our night vision. Creating one can be a fun family activity before you arrive! This program is weather dependent and may be cancelled with short notice. The Pine Hollow Trailhead is 4.5 miles up-canyon from the Timpanogos Cave National Monument Visitor Center.This program is made possible through a partnership with the US Forest Service Pleasant Grove Ranger District and the Utah Valley Astronomy Club.

The Pine Hollow Trailhead is 4.5 miles up-canyon from the Timpanogos Cave National Monument Visitor Center. It is on the right side after going up the second switchback. Stay to the right when the road splits instead of going left towards Tibble Fork
