You will need to sign up on the Pet Partners national website (www.PetPartners.org (http://www.PetPartners.org)). Log in, go to My Registrations, click Team Evaluation, start your renewal, click Schedule an Evaluation. Click Sign up. Click Handler. Click Evaluations. Click Location and scroll down to Utah.  Sign up for the date you set with Brittany.  If you have trouble signing up, please call Pet Partners Customer Service at 425-679-5530, email them at [email protected]; or contact them using the "Contact us" link on their website. They no longer take live calls, but they will call you back if you leave a message. Team Evaluations are by appointment only.  Brittany Young our Program Assistant will send you an email from [email protected] with your appointment time.  Be sure and read all the reminders you receive from her, so you know what to bring with you to your evaluation and you are prepared. This free PetPartners mini-workshop is designed to orient you to the Pet Partners TherapyAnimal Program as a way of volunteering with your pet in Utah. We'll discussrequirements, accepted species of pets, and the process for registering withPet Partners, as well as places and types of therapy animal visits. There is nocharge for this mini-workshop. If you decide that volunteering with your animal isn't a good fit for you oryour animal, we'll also discuss other ways you can get involved. Please go directly to petpartners.org toregister.  You will need to sign up for a free volunteer page if you don'thave one already and login.  You will then see 6 blue boxes.  Click on Courses and Events  andgo to The Training Center.  Click the brown box that says Sign up. Youâll see three more boxes:  click Handler.  Three moreboxes: click Workshops.  Two more boxes: click By Location. Under Online Classes, Mountain Time, click on AvailableClasses. Event and Parking info: Thank you so much for signing up! We will be indoors this time in the Student Life and Wellness Center (SL 211) from 11:00-1:00. The best place to park will be the parking garage. If your teams google "UVU Parking Garage" it will take them right there. They can park on any level, and make sure to take note of their license plate number (or they can send it to me ahead of time). Once they park, they will take the elevators to the 2nd level and then enter the student life building through the doors that are right next to the elevator. There will be signs once they walk through the doors leading you to our "Paws and Relax" event. Learn the basics of proactive handling.  This is a great beginning for people who are considering becoming a therapy animal team, as well as people who just want to be better pet parents.
