This program is open to all ages in the Winnie Belle Maker Space and it is made possible with support from the Winnie Belle Learned Fund.

In an age of instant news reporting from every corner of our world, sometimes the sheer volume of information can feel overwhelming. This current events discussion group will attempt to quiet the noise and step back to reflect on what the news means, what is its context, and what the ramifications are. We will look at, reflect on, and analyze daily events and try to discern trends and understand the national picture and the larger world basing the discussion on factual information in a non-judgmental framework. This discussion group is free and open to all. Registration is not required.

Join us for Connect & Play, a 6-week, drop-in style group series designed for parents and young children to strengthen their bond through joyful, structured play. Grounded in the Theraplay® model, each session offers engaging, developmentally attuned activities that promote connection, cooperation, and emotional regulation. Parents and children will play, laugh, and learn together in a supportive environment guided by trained facilitators, Carolynn Nagao Marcotte, LICSW and Katie Wessels, LICSW and Play Therapists at Champlain Center for Play Therapy and Family Counseling. Each week focuses on one or more of the core Theraplay dimensions—Structure, Engagement, Nurture, and Challenge—helping caregivers build confidence and deepen their understanding of their child’s emotional needs. Come to one session or join us for all six—every visit is a new opportunity to grow your relationship through connection and fun. Ideal for: Parents/caregivers and children ages 3-6.
