It's that time of year again! Join your friends and neighbors in getting ready for the upcoming growing season with a community seed swap hosted by the MRV Libraries. Seed swaps are a great way to try new crops, share some of your favorite seeds, and attend a fun event. We invite you to drop seeds to swap off at Joslin, Moretown or Warren libraries anytime between now and the swap. Please follow these sharing guidelines to help ensure success: 1) The seeds you share should not be more than two years old. 2) Make sure to give seeds to us in a clearly marked packet so we know what they are. Seeds may also be brought directly to the swap. Whether you have something to share or are new to gardening, everyone is invited to attend and take home seeds! All remaining seeds after the swap will be donated to our Little Seed Libraries for future use by community members.

Register Here:  https://forms.gle/zQaEpzDpDTW87NrS9 Have you ever wanted to make a portrait of your furry friend? Do you have a photo of a neighbors darling goat or cow you always thought was cute? Join us for an afternoon of creative fun and instruction on how to capture the essence of what makes us love our animals. All levels of experience (or none at all) are invited! This class is best suited for ages 16 and up. We will be working in pencil and water color. Please bring a 5” x 7” to 8” x 10” photo of ONE pet in color or black and white. Water Color Paper, pencils, brushes and transfer paper will be provided. About Linda:  Linda Espinosa resides in Moretown, and has enjoyed a professional career as an illustrator and creative director. Linda worked as such at The Disney Corporation and other entertainment studios. She has had the honor of working for publishers in licensing product design, at Warne and the Beatrix Potter Foundation, Maurice Sendak for Harper Collins Books and Viz Media for manga and animation.

Best Suited for ages 2-6 and their caregivers.  Please bring a mat and any other props you would like to use, there will be a limited number of extra mats available if you don't have one. please note at this time our building is only accessible by stairs.
