Let your passion for baking and books shine! Submit your creation to our Edible Book Contest. Your edible book can take various forms. It could resemble a physical book, depict a character from a book, or cleverly play on a book title through a pun. Let your imagination run wild! Need inspiration? Check out our previous Edible Book Contest submissions.Are you interested in viewing the creations in-person? Stop by and vote for your favorite. We welcome attendees, too!Submission Deadline: Deliver your edible entry to Westover Library between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 13. Note: Submissions will be returned after the event. There is no tasting of entries.Competition Categories: Best Entry by an Individual (divided by age groups: Children under 12, Teens 13-18, Adults) Best Entry by a Family Viewer’s Choice Voting Process: Participants, attendees, and two special guest Library staff judges will vote from 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Entries will be judged on the following:Originality and CreativitySkill and ConstructionVisual AppealTie-in with the book being depictedAwards and Refreshments: Prizes will be awarded starting at 2:45 p.m. Attendees can review the entries only and enjoy refreshments.
