At a Death Café people drink tea and discuss death. Our aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives. This Death Café will be hosted by Hannah, a librarian who has been hosting Death Café's since 2018. Please note: Death Cafés are not meant to act as support groups or grief counseling.

Enjoy gentle stretches and rhythmic moves with a certified yoga instructor. While sitting in chairs, attendees will learn how to find stability, alignment and integrity for stretches, and safe movement for the entire body. No equipment is required, but you may choose to bring a yoga strap and yoga block to enhance your experience. The yoga program is accessible for all bodies, and intended for adults and older adults. This free class is made possible by The Friends of Kings Park Library. Classes will be taught by an instructor from Breathe Body & Mind, a boutique yoga and fitness studio in West Springfield, VA, which offers various types of yoga classes as well as personal training and Pilates, barre, strength and balance classes and more.
