This interactive workshop for adults will allow you to explore the art of printmaking with hands-on help from a professional. Supplies will be provided, but consider wearing an old t-shirt or smock to keep your clothes ink free. Registration required.This workshop will be taught by Miriam Cutelis, a local art teacher who teaches everyone from Kindergarteners to seniors how to create cool, unique, and personal art. Most recently, Miriam has been exploring meditative circles through printmaking. Enjoy gentle stretches and rhythmic moves with a certified yoga instructor. While sitting in chairs, attendees will learn how to find stability, alignment and integrity for stretches, and safe movement for the entire body. No equipment is required, but you may choose to bring a yoga strap and yoga block to enhance your experience. The yoga program is accessible for all bodies, and intended for adults and older adults. This free class is made possible by The Friends of Kings Park Library. Classes will be taught by an instructor from Breathe Body & Mind, a boutique yoga and fitness studio in West Springfield, VA, which offers various types of yoga classes as well as personal training and Pilates, barre, strength and balance classes and more.
