Living History at Manassas! Artillery Demonstration

Join Manassas National Battlefield Park Volunteers, the Southern Greys, in seeing, learning, and experiencing the artillery of the American Civil War. Firing demonstrations of a Civil War cannon will acompany the program.

Location of the firing demonstrations will take place near the Henry House, approximately 300 yards north of the Visitor Center.

One of the most powerful ways to tour a battlefield is to walk in the footsteps of the soldiers who fell in combat. Face of Battle is designed to follow one soldier in combat. You'll learn about their personal thoughts, reasons for fighting, what the regiment did in combat, and what one soldier's death meant to their comrades and family. Face of Battle programs on Saturdays between July 26th and August 30th will focus on soldiers from the Second Battle of Manassas.
