About:January 9 through February 28, we hope you’ll participate in our annual Hearts for Homeless Pets fundraiser by purchasing paper hearts to show your love for pets. You can customize your heart(s) with up to THREE names of pet lovers, pets, or the names of adoptable pets at The Heritage Humane Society. We are asking for a $10 or more donation per heart. The hearts will be displayed in our adoption center front lobby (located at 430 Waller Mill Rd., Williamsburg, VA) from Jan. 11 through the end of February. All donations are tax-deductible and will directly benefit the pets in our care.  Purchase Your Hearts Online Here!

Join us in The Heritage Humane Society’s classroom on Saturday, February 7 at 8:30 a.m. for an hour-long beginner-friendly gentle yoga practice. It will be a donation-based yoga class to benefit the homeless pets at the shelter. This is a gentle yoga class accessible to yogis of all levels and beginner-friendly, modifications will be offered to meet the needs of all personal practices. Join us with your yoga mat and be ready to breathe, move, have fun, and meet some adorable, adoptable DOGS!You must pre-register online to secure your spot. It is a $20 donation per person. 100% of the donations are benefitting the homeless pets at HHS.

Kids will also get a chance to meet some adoptable pets from HHS. Open to all children ages 6 – 12 years old. Enjoy an evening out while your kid(s) enjoy a fun movie night with us! Pajamas are welcome, but not required. We encourage the kids to bring their favorite blankets and pillow with them and a refillable water bottle.100% of the proceeds benefit the homeless pets at HHS. Spots are limited, so sign up today!Sign Up Online:To reserve your kid’s spot, register online. Registration is $20 per person.
