Anacortes Sister Cities Traveler of the Month Program:  "Anacortes - get to know your Sister Cities!" Discover Anacortes' Global Connections at Free Sister Cities Event Anacortes Sister Cities invites the public to a special presentation on Thursday, February 5th at 7:00 PM at the Anacortes Senior Center.  This free event, part of the "Traveler Program of the Month," offers a lively introduction to Anacortes' Sister Cities and the international friendships they foster.    Board members will share stories, photos, and insights into the Sister Cities program - what it means, how it works, and how locals can get involved.  They will explain how Sister Cities International works and what that means for our local organization.   Whether you're curious about cultural exchange, international travel, or simply want to learn more about Anacortes' global ties, this is a perfect opportunity to connect.   All are welcome.  Admission is free.  For more information, visit www.AnacortesSisterCities.com.

The Book of Will by Lauren Gunderson runs from February 6 - February 28 at Anacortes Community Theatre. Directed by Diana Farnsworth. Without William Shakespeare, we wouldn’t have literary masterpieces like Romeo and Juliet. But without Henry Condell and John Heminges, we would have lost half of Shakespeare’s plays forever! After the death of their friend and mentor, the two actors are determined to compile the First Folio and preserve the words that shaped their lives. They’ll just have to borrow, beg, and band together to get it done. Amidst the noise and color of Elizabethan London, The Book of Will finds an unforgettable true story of love, loss, and laughter, and sheds new light on a man you may think you know.
