Please join us for a special Veterans Day program honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans while celebrating 250 years of American history through music. This year's program, "America Sings 250," will explore the important role music has played throughout our nation's history. Students in grades 2-5 will share a special performance featuring the history and meaning of "The Star-Spangled Banner," traditional American folk songs, rounds and partner songs.Students, families and guests will also be invited to join together in singing "America the Beautiful" and "My Country 'Tis of Thee." The program will conclude with the playing of "Taps" and the singing of "God Bless America."We look forward to gathering as a school community to recognize our veterans, reflect on our nation's history and honor those who have served. ??????????
