Learn more about the birds at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Join Eastside Audubon for a monthly walk that explores the birds and their habitat in the Garden. This one-mile walk will be on trails with various surfaces and may include gravel, mulch, or pavement. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Parking in the lot is free. From the parking lot enter the garden through the breezeway and turn left. Meet your guide in the covered Gathering Place. This walk is for any level of birder and no experience is necessary. Bring binoculars if you have them. There will be some available to loan for the walk. Each walk is $5 per person. Registration is required. Sorry, this class is full. Email us to join the waitlist.

These general tours will introduce the plants and gardens at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, and offer interesting information about the Garden and its history. Tours take place every Saturday and Sunday at noon, April through October. Meet at the Shorts House, west of the main entrance (approximately a 3-5 minute walk from the main entrance).  Registration is not required. Tours are free with a suggested donation of $5 per person. You may donate on the day of your tour, or make an online donation. NOTE: Public weekend tours may be canceled because of inclement weather, heat or smoke.

First Saturday of the MonthThis free workshop introduces kids aged 7-14 and their chaperones to nature journaling, inspired by John Muir Laws. We’ll start indoors with a prompt, journal outdoors, then share discoveries. Bring a blank notebook and writing tool. Ages 7-11 require an adult chaperone. Held first Saturday of every month. Registration recommended but not required. We will have paper and writing supplies for those that arrive without. This workshop is geared to children and youth 7 -14 years old. Children aged 7-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Over 11 years will need a waiver. Please dress for the weather. The workshop will start in the Sharp Cabin and signs will be posted. This workshop will repeat the 1st Saturday of every month and we hope that youth will return each month for journaling club! Registration is optional, but is helpful for our planning.
