Come to the 13th Annual Recycled Arts Resource Expo (RARE)! RARE celebrates creative reuse through a juried art exhibit at our Allied Arts Gallery. We also spotlight art organizations and facilities promoting sustainability. Our opening reception will even feature a repurposed percussion performance by Daelinar! Our primary goal is to educate the community on how the arts contribute to sustainability. You'll leave with fresh, resourceful ideas that highlight the value of creative resource usage. Allied Arts is a non-profit gallery, all proceeds from sales go towards supporting the arts in our community.   Join us monthly (except for June, August, November and December) as we outline all the benefits that are included with the Burlington Chamber Membership as orientation or a refresher.  This includes going over the Member Information Center.  The portal allows chamber members to update their directory listing and business information/description, manage their representative information, post job openings, post Hot Deals, and more.  This is offered in person, or log in to Zoom (you must pre-register to obtain the Zoom link) and learn more about your Burlington Chamber Membership!

City Council Meeting

Second and fourth Thursday of each month. Usual exceptions are the second meeting in November, which is moved to the Tuesday of that week to avoid Thanksgiving. The second meeting in December is often cancelled to avoid the holidays.

CMSC's Sensory Exploration Program is a special monthly session for families with children on the autism spectrum, children with sensory processing disorders, and children with other developmental disabilities. During Sensory Exploration, the Children's Museum provides these families exclusive access to the Museum. Children ages 1-12 years are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Sound-reducing earmuffs, sunglasses, sensory balls, and additional support services available. Enjoy a safe and understanding environment. Play during a quieter, less crowded time.
