Celebrate the Return of Issaquah Rotary Club’s Run With The Fishes! Join us this fall for a cherished Issaquah tradition! The Issaquah Rotary Club’s Run With the Fishes is back—featuring a 5K, 10K, and a 1K Kids’ Fun Run—and we can’t wait to run, cheer, and celebrate with you! For more than 30 years, the Rotary Run was a beloved part of Salmon Days, bringing runners of all ages through the heart of Issaquah as we celebrate the Fall return of the salmon to the Issaquah Creek. After a hiatus since 2019, we were thrilled to announce the return of the race in 2025—with a new location and racecourse that follows the Lake Sammamish State Park waterfront and parallels the Issaquah Creek so our participants can literally “Run With The Fishes” as they return to their spawning grounds this Fall. As an added benefit this year, we are bringing back the Rotary Club’s iconic long sleeved event running shirt to go along with this Fall classic event. 5K/10K/1K Kids' Run Date: Sunday, September 27, 2026 Location: Lake Sammamish State Park – 2182 NW Sammamish Rd., Issaquah WA (Important! A Discover Pass is needed for this event.) Time:   Registration begins at 7:30 A.M. Join Carnation Farms’ first ever Woodfired Friday – a casual, farm-to-table pizza night on the farm. The food will be served right next to the crop fields, so you can enjoy farm-to-table food and see exactly where it comes from. Enjoy wood-fired pizza (meat, veggie, and cheese options available), salad, and wine or beer for the adults. Kids are more than welcome! We’ll have plenty of table seating, but feel free to bring a picnic blanket if you prefer to lounge on the grass.

We will be planting native trees and shrubs to enhance salmon habitat and restore the riverbank. We’ll provide light refreshments in the morning (coffee, pastries or granola bars, and water) and a pizza lunch at noon. Bring a full water bottle and a coffee cup or travel mug for refills.
