About Us
KDA, a community-based nonprofit started in the 1990’s when a band of downtown business owners came together to create events and programs that would call attention to Kirkland and make it a destination for shopping, dining, and recreation. Over the years, KDA has created and operates most of Kirkland’s best-loved events including: CELEBRATE KIRKLAND! Family 4th of July Parade, Picnic and Fireworks, The Summer Farmer’s Market, Concerts in the Park, The Waterfront Car Show, Pumpkins in the Park, and Winterfest. Mission: Making KIRKLAND a vibrant, connected, and flourishing place for all who live, work, play, and do business here.
