Are you a volunteer manager at a nonprofit, school or government agency? Or maybe you’re a volunteer who coordinates OTHER volunteers at a church, service club or community group? You’re invited to the Skagit Volunteer Coordinators Network! Why get involved in the Skagit Volunteer Coordinators Network? Peer learning: Get tips and build your professional network of diverse volunteer coordinators across sectors — education, social services, emergency management, food security, environmental, arts organizations and more. Come with your questions, ask for help problem-solving, and share your experience and resources with others!FREE volunteer recruitment resources, via www.SkagitVolunteerCenter.org, and our monthly volunteer newsletter that reaches over 2,000 individuals, churches and businesses.Meeting: We meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month from 3-4:30 p.m. Meetings alternate between in person and via Zoom. Please let us know if you would like to host an in person meeting! Past topics we have discussed include: 2025 Schedule & Volunteer Management Topics: These topics were suggested by 2023 network members. To accommodate volunteer coordinators who live in more rural and isolated areas, meetings in 2024 will alternate between in person and via Zoom.
