This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with community leaders, explore resources, and enhance your ability to serve individuals and families in our area. The Community Resource Network now meets monthly on the FOURTH THURSDAY via zoom or in-person, to help better build relationships among human services organizations, educators, and other organizations serving lower-income households. Meeting outcome: Learn who does what to support lower-income community members in Skagit County.Promote your organization’s services and events, to improve client referrals.Invite other service providers to join!Build your network!What is Community Resource Network? To improve relationships and resource navigation networks, Community Action has hosted the CRN for over 15 years. Together, we can do more together than we can on our own. Are you a volunteer manager at a nonprofit, school or government agency? Or maybe you’re a volunteer who coordinates OTHER volunteers at a church, service club or community group? You’re invited to the Skagit Volunteer Coordinators Network! Why get involved in the Skagit Volunteer Coordinators Network? Peer learning: Get tips and build your professional network of diverse volunteer coordinators across sectors — education, social services, emergency management, food security, environmental, arts organizations and more. Come with your questions, ask for help problem-solving, and share your experience and resources with others!FREE volunteer recruitment resources, via www.SkagitVolunteerCenter.org, and our monthly volunteer newsletter that reaches over 2,000 individuals, churches and businesses.Meeting: We meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month from 3-4:30 p.m. Meetings alternate between in person and via Zoom. Please let us know if you would like to host an in person meeting!
