North Bend, WA (December 5th through May 31st, 2026)  Yukiguni—Snow Country—defines the regions of Japan where Siberian winds cross the Sea of Japan and release some of the heaviest snowfall on earth.  Over five winters in the mountains of central Honshu, these photographs explore the delicate graphicism that emerges from extreme conditions. The mountains near Hakuba and Myoko embody a striking juxtaposition: a delicate, graphic simplicity in the undulating foothills and the seeming fragility of resident flora like birch and bamboo, colliding with a savagery apparent in the rugged high alpine regions and the near-constant storms that batter these mountains with incredible amounts of snow and wind.  “This is winter as both architect and eraser, where violence becomes sculptor and storms leave behind only the essential. Working in black and white, these images distill the alpine environment to its essential elements—line, texture, negative space—revealing the quiet geometry that remains when excess is stripped away, leaving only a silencing blanket of snow.”   - Scott Rinckenberger

With a bit of cutting, fraying, layering, and gentle shaping, humble fabric becomes something light, expressive, and full of movement. These feathers can be worn, gifted, or displayed—each one carrying its own story stitched in.  Amy will guide you step by step through the process, sharing tips for working with denim grain, creating soft feathered edges, and adding just the right amount of detail for a finished, artful piece.  We’ll finish by embellishing with beads and hardware, turning each feather into a small statement of creativity and reuse. Skill Level/Age Range: Beginner / 11+ Student Instructions:  Please bring scissors and a pen/pencil, that's it! This class will provide you with instructions that are guaranteed to unleash your own creativity and imagination. You will learn about the materials and tools you need to get started needle felting and create several of your very own little treasures to be proud of! Class includes: • An easy-to-follow lesson introducing you to basic needle felting techniques including a downloadable PDF with step-by-step directions and an instructional video (1 hour and 17 minutes) teaching you how to make your own slugs and snails. • A selection of felting wool, a needle felting supply kit, and a foam block • Techniques you can apply to future projects • A finished project you can be proud of.  Depending on the size slug or snail you create, it is possible you will be able to create one of each. Group fun run - all levels trail. These runs are designed to satisfy all: the beginner who wants to discover what the buzz about trail running is, the competitive runner who wants to get a few more miles in for that week, and the seasoned ultra-runner who just loves hill repeats! Every week we meet along the I-90 corridor for a 4-mile, +/- 1,000' of vertical trail run which can be completed easily in approximately an hour. We then spend a few minutes refueling, enjoying hot tea or coffee and fellowship.

Every week a different location along the I-90 corridor, between exits 27 and Snoqualmie Pass.

Starting Sunday, February 1st, we’re opening the doors every Sunday from 2 PM to 4 PM for an afternoon of non-stop projects, with various and ever changing themes and mediums.  Your child won't be stuck doing just one thing. We’ll have multiple awesome creative activities ready to go! They can pick their favorite, or try every single one! Art Exploration! This is the perfect chance for young minds to dive into all sorts of art styles, materials, and processes. Family Discovery! Not only will your kid find their inner artist, but you get to explore right alongside them—it's a great opportunity for you to rediscover your own dormant creativity! It’s free, it's fun, it's informal, (drop in anytime and stay as long as you like) between 2 and 4.

North Bend, WA (December 5th through May 31st, 2026)  Yukiguni—Snow Country—defines the regions of Japan where Siberian winds cross the Sea of Japan and release some of the heaviest snowfall on earth.  Over five winters in the mountains of central Honshu, these photographs explore the delicate graphicism that emerges from extreme conditions. The mountains near Hakuba and Myoko embody a striking juxtaposition: a delicate, graphic simplicity in the undulating foothills and the seeming fragility of resident flora like birch and bamboo, colliding with a savagery apparent in the rugged high alpine regions and the near-constant storms that batter these mountains with incredible amounts of snow and wind.  “This is winter as both architect and eraser, where violence becomes sculptor and storms leave behind only the essential. Working in black and white, these images distill the alpine environment to its essential elements—line, texture, negative space—revealing the quiet geometry that remains when excess is stripped away, leaving only a silencing blanket of snow.”   - Scott Rinckenberger

Over three sessions, students will learn how to use basic tools, create essential stitches, read simple patterns, and complete a finished project. By the end of the course, students will have completed a crocheted dishcloth and gained the foundational skills to move confidently into more advanced projects such as scarves, granny squares, and full patterns. Session 1  (May 14th):  Learn tools, vocabulary, how to hold the hook, controlling tension, yarn handling, slip knots, and chains. Session 2 (May 21st):‍  ‍Learn single crochet, turning chain, half-double, double crochet, stitch counting, recognizing and rectifying common mistakes. Session 3 (May 28th):  Learn pattern types,  make a small project, finish a piece.
