This new art show opening features a must-see collection celebrating our local volcanoes. You?ll feel a love for these perfect forms beyond the exotic sensations of climbing and skiing these magnificent peaks. This very special set of visual experiences is usually reserved exclusively for the volcano climber. In this show, Scott Rinckenberger brings it to you; giant domes, multi-layered landscapes and simultaneously remarkable symmetry, yet wildly individual panoramas and peaks that will leave you breathless. More about the show: If you ask a perfectly sane person when ski season ends, you?ll get answers ranging from mid-March to early May. If you ask a backcountry skiing addict like Scott Rinckenberger, well, you?ll get a different answer entirely. See, as soon as ski season ends in the resorts and local mountain passes, a second season has just begun. It can happen on any high peaks with glaciers or permanent snowfields, but here in the great state of Washington, we are blessed with a plethora of mountains that were perfectly designed for this second season.  Here, we have volcanoes. For a few months each year, these epic mountains open themselves up to those seeking an extended ski season, and who are willing to put in the work.  Around here, we call it Volcano Season. Group fun run - all levels trail. These runs are designed to satisfy all: the beginner who wants to discover what the buzz about trail running is, the competitive runner who wants to get a few more miles in for that week, and the seasoned ultra-runner who just loves hill repeats! Every week we meet along the I-90 corridor for a 4-mile, +/- 1,000' of vertical trail run which can be completed easily in approximately an hour. We then spend a few minutes refueling, enjoying hot tea or coffee and fellowship.

Every week a different location along the I-90 corridor, between exits 27 and Snoqualmie Pass.

Pieces will be finished with melted wax and a buff cloth. You?ll have the option to choose one of two figures to carve.  One will be the turtle!
