It is defined by layered boundaries — beginning with the oldest and hardest lines of geology, topography, and hydrology, moving through the living systems of soil, climate, and flora and fauna, and finally through the human lines of culture, language, agriculture, Indigenous knowledge, and the ways communities shape themselves around the limits and gifts of a place.   The Snoqualmie region is not simply a collection of scenic landscapes. It is a living system defined by the relationships between its mountains, forests, waterways, and every creature that inhabits them, including us. Group fun run - all levels trail. These runs are designed to satisfy all: the beginner who wants to discover what the buzz about trail running is, the competitive runner who wants to get a few more miles in for that week, and the seasoned ultra-runner who just loves hill repeats! Every week we meet along the I-90 corridor for a 4-mile, +/- 1,000' of vertical trail run which can be completed easily in approximately an hour. We then spend a few minutes refueling, enjoying hot tea or coffee and fellowship.

Every week a different location along the I-90 corridor, between exits 27 and Snoqualmie Pass.

Using durable materials like glass and beads, you’ll learn essential mosaic techniques, including tesserae placement and design layout, to create a weather-resistant and functional outdoor art piece. While you’ll complete the mosaic during class, grouting will be done at home after the adhesive has fully dried. A live grout demonstration during the session, along with provided supplies and access to a detailed instructional video, will equip you with everything you need to finish your project confidently. Skill Level/Age Range:  All levels/ 16+  Student Instructions:  Please consider packing a snack or lunch to enjoy during this four hour class.
