As the sun sets and the moon rises, hike at your own pace along this 1.6-mile (one way) paved trail, climbing 700 ft to the top of Hurricane Hill, where an astronomer will provide a constellation tour. Meet at the Hurricane Hill Trailhead, 1.5 miles past the main Hurricane Ridge Parking Area.Bring a light source, sturdy footwear, and warm layers—evenings in the montains can be cool, even in summer. Astronomy and Night Sky programs at Olympic National Park are made possible by the generous support from Washington's National Park Fund (WNPF).
