For the upcoming school year, we are excited to bring you Special Education Parent Awareness & Connection (SEPAC) with a renewed focus on supporting families through meaningful information and opportunities to connect. SEPAC will serve as a welcoming space where parents and caregivers can learn about important topics in special education, hear from experts and district staff, and walk away with practical tools to support their child’s educational journey. SEPAC will also provide time for families to share their perspectives, ask questions, and strengthen connections with other families. Each meeting will highlight a different theme—such as IEP basics, transitions, related services, or community resources—while also offering space for discussion and feedback. Our goal is for every family to leave SEPAC feeling more informed, more connected, and more empowered. Each meeting is held from 6-7 PM at The Hive with an option to attend virtually.
