Join local birding enthusiast Deb Hale for a walk in Woodpecker Woods Wildlife Sanctuary to view and hear the many different bird species that make Woodpeckers Woods a birding hotspot. In a few places, trails are steep and after rain may be muddy. Hiking shoes and water bottle are recommended. Some may find hiking poles helpful. Bring binoculars if you have them (we’ll have some extra). Sorry, no pets. The event is free and sponsored by the Ecology Committee of the Trail & Town Alliance of Harpers Ferry-Bolivar / Harpers Ferry-Bolivar Historic Town Foundation.
