Ozaukee Nonprofit Center is excited to announce the return of the “Ozaukee Impact Awards”—an award ceremony that celebrates the individuals, groups, and companies that epitomize the spirit of giving in 2025. During this special luncheon, the Ozaukee Impact Awards will seek to recognize local change-makers and the impact they have had on our community over the last year.   Nominations are now open for the Ozaukee Impact Awards luncheon, which will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, from 12 -1:30 p.m. The community is invited to make a nomination in any or all of the following award categories:   Community Collaboration of the Year: Recognizes two or more volunteer groups or nonprofit organizations that collaborated on a local initiative or project that made an impact within the community.   Community Stewardship of the Year: Honors a corporation or business entity that has made a substantial impact in the community through monetary or in-kind donations, sponsorships, or employee volunteer programs.   Nonprofit Emerging Leader of the Year: Recognizes an individual who is an early or mid-career nonprofit professional who demonstrates a strong sense of vision, passion, and commitment to the community.   Nonprofit of the Year: Acknowledges an outstanding nonprofit organization for its service and mission-based success in 2025.   Volunteer of the Year: A volunteer who consistently went above and beyond this year in lending their time and expertise to a nonprofit organization.   Special consideration for the 2025 Impact Awards will be given to Ozaukee Nonprofit Center Member Organizations, where applicable. Winners from the 2024 Ozaukee Impact Awards will not be eligible to receive the same award two years in a row, but may be nominated in another category.   Nominees will be contacted ahead of the awards ceremony to confirm participation and complete a short questionnaire. Nominees who submit the questionnaire will be featured on the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center website before the event.   Nominations close June 18, 2025, at midnight. Cedarburg Art Museum is proud to launch Every Artist Matters, a new inclusive program made possible through the generous support of Mel’s Charities and a Homegrown Grant from the Herb Kohl Philanthropy Foundation. This program offers FREE, high-quality art classes designed for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Every Artist Matters is rooted in the belief that every creative voice deserves to be heard, celebrated, and supported. All classes are inclusive, welcoming, and thoughtfully adapted to meet the needs of each artist. Instruction and all art supplies — including adaptable materials — are provided by Cedarburg Art Museum. Together, we’re building a more creative, connected, and inclusive community — one work of art at a time. The exhibition will include works from our adult and teen classes. Artwork will be displayed in the Museum’s accessible Parlor, Dining Room and Foyer.

  Summer Sculpture Exhibition: Kendall Polster May 24th – October 6th, 2025   After graduating from the University of Georgis in 1990 with majors in zoology and microbiology, Polster worked as a research biologist for 3 years at the Blood Center of Southeastern Wisconsin. Polster then started welding furniture and sculpture for a hobby. His brother Craig, who is a certified welder, taught him how to weld. Polster started medical school and eventually took a leave of absence in 1994 to pursue his are full time and start WELD GUY! .

You Will No Longer Be Here: The Work of Rebecca Carlton and Debbie Kupinsky August 8th – November 9th, 2025 Opening Reception: Friday, August 8th from 4 – 6 pm This exhibition is an exploration of the intersection of the natural and industrial/man-made environments, focusing on impact, interaction, and cooperation. Carlton and Kupinsky create an exhibition that envelops the viewer in repeating forms that fill the space, allowing direct interaction with the environment built within the museum. The blur between the natural and man-made extends to the concepts presented by each artist, marked parallels coalesce between the land, human, and animal.

Cedarburg Art Museum is proud to launch Every Artist Matters, a new inclusive program made possible through the generous support of Mel’s Charities and a Homegrown Grant from the Herb Kohl Philanthropy Foundation. This program offers FREE, high-quality art classes designed for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Every Artist Matters is rooted in the belief that every creative voice deserves to be heard, celebrated, and supported. All classes are inclusive, welcoming, and thoughtfully adapted to meet the needs of each artist. Instruction and all art supplies — including adaptable materials — are provided by Cedarburg Art Museum. Together, we’re building a more creative, connected, and inclusive community — one work of art at a time. The exhibition will include works from our adult and teen classes. Artwork will be displayed in the Museum’s accessible Parlor, Dining Room and Foyer.

Rosemary Ollison: Know My Heart features the complex textile oeuvre of Milwaukee-based artist Rosemary Ollison. In her eighties, Ollison has been making art in her home environment for thirty years. This exhibition will be Ollison's first-ever solo museum exhibit. Accompanying the exhibit will be a fully illustrated catalog featuring her unpublished writings and scholarly essays by Dr. Sharbreon Plummer and Debra Brehmer. "Rosemary Ollison: Know My Heart" runs from August 15 through December 7, 2025.
