Learn how to make your outdoor space come alive with hummingbirds and butterflies. Participants will discover how to create a hummingbird and butterfly habitat in their own yard, garden, or deck. We will discuss the best plants to use that attract these flyers, the best type of hummingbird feeder to use, if butterfly houses actually work, and effective planting strategies.  Presented by Brooke Gilley from Wehr Nature Center.

Calling all \"Yarnies\"! What is a Yarnie??? It's a slang term used to describe a person who has an obsession with either natural or man-made fibers or filaments used in crocheting and knitting or other needle crafts.  Does this describe you? If it does, please bring your knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, crewel, cross stitch, or any other yarn crafts and join other Yarnies in a group setting!  We will have two groups -- come to either or both! The morning group meets every other Wednesday from 10:00-12:00. The evening group meets every other Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 pm.
