This 15 week farmer's market opens the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and ends the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.  Bring your produce, your crafts, your commercial products and your information!  All is welcome at Saturdays on the Square.   Market opens at 9am and closes at 1pm.  Vendors set-up on a first come first serve basis with plenty of room for all who attend.  Find food trucks and a morning workout on the square and get your weekends started off right! MEMORY CAFE WILL CONTINUE TO MEET AT THE SOUTHERN LAKES MEMORY PROJECT LOCATED AT 20 N. CHURCH STREET IN ELKHORN.  A memory cafe is a place where people with MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment), early stage Alzheimer's or related dementia can go with their care partners to socialize and have fun with other people going through similar things. A memory cafe has no real agenda or stated purposes except to enjoy each other's company. Cafes provide a time where you do not need to focus on the diagnosis, while having a great time connecting with each other as a family or creating new friendships.

OUR HISTORY WALK HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED! John Gunyon paints a vivid picture of the late 1800s, when Elkhorn was rising as a center of growth and industry. Walk with us as he guides us into the haunting story of the Blizzard of 1881—a storm that buried the town, halted the railroads, and left behind more than just snowdrifts. Our annual history walk starts at Hazel Ridge Cemetery, located at 701 W. Hazel Ridge Road in Elkhorn. Please wear comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing and shoes. Matheson Memorial Library (Elkhorn), along with Delavan Public Library, Lake Geneva Public Library, Fontana Public Library, Barrett Memorial Library (Williams Bay), and Lakeland Players LLC are very excited to collaborate and bring the 2025 award-winning documentary, “The Librarians”, to Walworth County for a screening at the historic Sprague Theater in Elkhorn. Book bans and threats to intellectual freedom are rampant across the United States. It is the books that have long fought for a place on the shelf that are being targeted. In this documentary, librarians emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy and our First Amendment Rights. As they well know, controlling the flow of ideas means control over communities. This movie will be held at the Sprague Theater, 15 W. Walworth Street in Elkhorn and doors will open at 6:30 PM.
