All are welcome to come to our Bethel UMC parking lot for our annual Trunk-or-Treat celebration! All ages are welcome to attend. Featured are games, trunks full of treats, hot drinks, and lots of fun.

Kids of all ages are welcome to come join in on the fun at Bethel's annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 4PM - 6PM. Lots of trunks will be filled and games will be played and giggles will be had.

Families are welcome to interact and play, listen to stories, and read to the furry friends visiting us from the shelter. Live animals will be present in a designated space. This program is sponsored by the Lakeland Animal Shelter.

In order to help you better prepare for the upcoming deer season, Southern Lakes Church will host its annual Hunters Sight-In Day on Saturday, November 8, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. All are welcome to come and sight in their firearms. The event is entirely free. You only need to bring your own firearms and ammunition. Experienced range officers will provide supervision that will keep the event safe for everyone. Targets will be set up at 25, 50 and 100 yards. Bore sighting is available, as are spotting scopes, targets, eye and ear protection, snacks, beverages and a hot lunch – all at no cost.
