Mother’s Day TicketsJoin us on Sunday, May 11th to celebrate Mom at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park! In honor of her special day, each mom will receive free admission to the NEW Zoo and to the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour. While supplies last, mom can also choose a free plant, courtesy of Wery’s Sweet Summer Bloomers, and receive a bag of sweet treats on arrival. The Dog House will be at the zoo offering their famous, fresh cheese curds, burgers, and brats, and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck will be here selling a thirst-quenching selection of both hot and cold beverages—so don’t be afraid to come hungry! We’re excited to share that both AHT Wisconsin Windows and Everdry Waterproofing will have some fun activities for kids to enjoy, too. The Giraffe Feeding Experience and the Children’s Zoo Feeding Experience will be available throughout the day, along with the Endangered Species Carousel (weather permitting). To facilitate an easier and faster entry, we encourage everyone to purchase Zoo admission tickets in advance for all members of your party – EXCEPT for moms and for kids under 3. You can arrive anytime after we open at 9:00 a.m. and stay at the Zoo for as long as you like (until closing time!). Zoo Pass Members can arrive anytime during the day and follow your usual entrance procedure. Canopy Tour tickets can be purchased at the Adventure Park Base Camp Building or online in advance (for everyone in your group except for moms and children under 3). Zoo PLUS Canopy Tour tickets are also available, so if you plan to do both activities, take advantage of the savings those tickets provide. The NEW Zoo will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 11th, and both the Canopy Tour and the Adventure Park will be open for regular hours, as well. Join us for a leisurely stroll around the NEW Zoo during this adults-only (21+) evening event! This year’s event features the First Reach Foundation, a new non-profit organization in the Northeast Wisconsin Community. Guests will follow a path to adventure, seeing wildlife from around the world while sampling various wines paired with cheeses and fruits. Bring your friends and enjoy our watering holes while supporting the NEW Zoological Society and the First Reach Foundation! This is a rain-or-shine event, therefore no refunds will be given due to inclement weather and your ticket price will be considered a donation. Tickets $40/advance | $50/day of event (if not sold out in advance). Tickets are now on sale. Please note: the NEW Zoo will close early to prepare for this event. All attendees must be aged 21+ to enter and have a valid photo ID.   

World Giraffe Day

Proceeds from World Giraffe Day directly support giraffe conservation efforts in Africa. This event is free with regular zoo admission. Additional details provided as event approaches.
