Join Music Avenue at Meadowridge Library this winter! These classes are designed for infants, toddlers, and young children to interact musically with their caregivers. Participants will experience the beauty of artistic movement, steady beat, singing, and listening. Activities are highly interactive, extremely fun, and always free! These classes are geared for children ages 0-5 and their caregiver(s), but all ages, including older siblings, and childcare groups, are welcome and encouraged to attend! Sign up for free assistance from AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers to help fill out and file Federal and Wisconsin personal income taxes. Call 608-288-6160 no earlier than 9am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, to make an appointment (required). AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and virtual tax assistance free of charge with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low-to-moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year. Some situations are outside the scope of the service -- see what type of taxes they can prepare or ask if in doubt.  All Meadowridge Library appointments will be in-person on MONDAYS: 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 2/25, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, and 4/13. Library staff will begin making appointments on January 21 at 9 am. Appointments must be made in person or by phone. A Junk Journal is a handmade book made of repurposed, upcycled materials.  This book can be a place to tell your story through paint, poetry, writing, drawing, ripping paper and gluing things together, cutting pictures out of magazines that you  like...or however! There are no rules in junk journaling and no artistic experience needed!  Come and relax and make something beautiful! This program is intended for adults and youth and is best for ages 8 and up.    ¡hablamos español! Please bring any journal/notebook/planner that you have laying around that you'd like to repurpose. We will provide magazines, stickers, interesting papers, and other crafting items, as well as glue sticks and scissors.
