Sign up for free assistance from AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers to help fill out and file Federal and Wisconsin personal income taxes. Call 608-288-6160 no earlier than 9am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, to make an appointment (required). AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and virtual tax assistance free of charge with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low-to-moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year. Some situations are outside the scope of the service -- see what type of taxes they can prepare or ask if in doubt.  All Meadowridge Library appointments will be in-person on MONDAYS: 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 2/25, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, and 4/13. Library staff will begin making appointments on January 21 at 9 am. Appointments must be made in person or by phone.
