North Lakeland School will soon be offering our PK ~ K grade students an opportunity to participate in Scribble Stones, as a Lighted Schoolhouse after-school programming option. Spring time is the BEST time to start working on new Scribble Stones to help decorate our school grounds and entryways with Mrs. Matusiewicz! Please be vigilant of projected absences and other obligations to ensure fairness to all students who turn in a permission slip. You must confirm your registration via email or phone. This helps ensure student safety and coordination with drop offs and bussing. Please feel free to contact Mr. Matt Pritzl anytime at [email protected] or at (715) 543 ~ 8417 ext. 322 with any questions you may have. Listed below are the requirements for participation. ["North Lakeland School will soon be offering our 6 ~ 8 grade students an opportunity to participate in the Youth Trap Shooting Instruction Program", " as a Lighted Schoolhouse after-school programming option. The Boulder Junction Shooting Range Club will soon be offering a four session shotgun shooting instruction program! Join instructor Dave Wakeman", " and other club members as students will learn the fundamental aspects of safe shotgun handling", " shooting", " and the sport of trap shooting. Chadwick Bain and Matt Pritzl will be assisting as well with one-on-one shooting to occur only. Instructors will supply one shell only per student when the student demonstrates safety and is “ready to shoot”. Students will start out with low 7 skeet (close and straight away) while progressing to harder birds as student’s demonstrate both safety and accuracy. A record of their progressions will also be kept. The club is graciously providing the facility", " eye and ear protection", " shotguns", " shells", " targets", " and birds for our students", " setting the stage for a safe and fun learning experience! Parents are more than welcome to attend but are not required. If you have a personal shotgun that you prefer", " it must be checked in beforehand at the Boulder Junction Shooting Range while deemed both safe and acceptable by an instructor. Parental drop off of any shotgun will ONLY be at the shooting range and on the day and start of class after being checked in. Safety is paramount in this program. Students will receive one verbal warning with a disqualification letter to follow with a second safety violation. Please be vigilant of your projected absences and other obligations on the course dates to ensure roster spot fairness to all. Please feel free to contact Mr. Matt Pritzl anytime at [email protected] or at (715) 543 ~ 8417 ext. 322 with any questions you may have. Listed below are the requirements for participation. Once rostered you will receive a separate liability form to be signed from the club before the class start date.
