â Fab Lab Event #3: Create Your Own Custom Mug! As the weather cools down, itâs the perfect time to cozy up with a cup of hot chocolate â and what better way to enjoy it than with a mug you designed yourself? Join us for our third Fab Lab event as we dive into the world of sublimation printing to create custom mugs! Students will design their own artwork, print it using our sublimation printer, and transfer it onto a mug to take home. Event Description Video Game Day at RVA Learning Center Date:   Tuesday, Nov. 4 Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Join us for an action-packed Video Game Day at the RVA Learning Center! Whether you're a casual gamer or a seasoned pro, there's something for everyone. Activities: Various video games, with tournaments signup happening shortly after students arrive. Games can include:  Gran Turismo, NCAA Football, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Flight Simulators and more. Systems will include PS5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii.  There will also be a throwback video game challenge, where players can compete in a game from generally the 1980's. Don't miss this exciting day of gaming, competition, and fun! All skill levels welcome. Though real spacecraft take years to travel between worlds, the planetariumâs simulation system propels us across the solar system in under a minute. Youâll get an upâclose look at each planetâs features and discover the fascinating similaritiesâand differencesâbetween these amazing worlds.
