We are excited to invite you to join the EmpowHer Women’s Networking Group, a dynamic community where women in business connect, collaborate, and thrive. Our mission is to provide a platform for women to gain valuable insights into running successful businesses while empowering and uplifting one another. We aim to ensure that each woman feels inspired and equipped to reach her fullest potential. This is a recurring monthly meeting (third Wednesday of every month) from 8am-9am.  No RSVP is required.

We invite members of the community to attend one of our meetings to learn what great things we are doing in the community.  The Verona Lions Club is committed to making the Verona area a better place to live.  Whether it is screening children's vision at area pre-schools, collecting school supplies for the students in our schools, collecting stretch plastic to be made into benches that are donated to the community, holding food drives for the food pantry, or providing a free morning to visit with Santa the Lions truly live up to our motto of "We Serve".

We usually meet at Stone Porch Ale House, 950 Kimball Ln, Verona on the third Wednesday of the month for a meal off the menu and a business meeting. But if there is a room conflict we will meet at different locations. Please check our website for the

Krampus is coming… to drink your beer! Join us at Lake Louie on Saturday, December 20th at 3PM for our Krampus Solstice celebration—an evening built for the longest night of the year. We’re tapping 3 special-release beers just for the occasion:  Barrel-Aged Brew  Black IPA  Dunkel Wild Rice Lager Grab a beer flight, warm up at our chili station, and settle in for a night of festive mischief. Costumes encouraged! Come dressed as Krampus and receive a FREE 6-pack! Don’t miss the Krampus Costume Contest at sunset (4:30PM) to see who will be crowned the nastiest Krampus of the night. Live Music (3:00–5:00PM): Featuring performances by Ambrosia’s Affair and Zinda Laash. Join us on the longest night… if you dare.

Please join us for our meeting and learn about how you can help spread joy throughout the community, make a real difference for youth and support the Optimist Mission "By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in our youth, our communities, and ourselves."  We meet at the Verona Senior Center on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 6:30-8 p.m. The 4th Thursday meeting is a special guest meeting where we often have guest speakers and other informational, educational and joyous activities planned in addition to our volunteer coordination work.
