Making Summer Easier, Part 2: Collaborative Summer Library Program Resources Thu Feb 12th 2:00pm - 3:00pm webinaryouth-servicesseries Zoom  There are so many aspects to planning a summer library program, it can get overwhelming—that’s where the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) comes in. Every year, Wisconsin participates in the CSLP, which means Wisconsin public libraries have access to resources to develop engaging programs, decorations and book displays, reading challenges, and promotional materials, to name a few. Join Emily Rogers (WVLS) and Leah Langby (IFLS) for a walk through the resources freely available to Wisconsin public libraries. This is especially helpful for those who are new to the summer library program or who haven’t used the CSLP resources before. You’ll learn: How to access the CSLP resources, and what they are Where to find additional professional development opportunities Great ways to navigate the CSLP Manual, with a spotlight on a few programs for a variety of ages Where to find images created by Tom Bronson, along with other promotional resources like Canva templates How to make your summer easier by turning over some of the design work and program brainstorming to others Register
