Marvin is a member of the Crow Tribe, residing in Hardin, Montana. He is a 20+ year retired Park Ranger from Little Big Horn Battlefield National Monument, as well as a Crow Indian Private Tour Guide and Tribal Researcher.Marvin has vast knowledge of the governmental policy of the 1800s that precipitated the many battles between Native Americans and the US Army. He is also well versed in the traditional, ceremonial practices of the Crow Tribe.

Jeffrey is Oglala Lakota from the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota & has the blood of five of the seven Lakota council fires. He is great-grandson of Iron Hail known as Dewey Beard. His people are Sitting Bull & Crazy Horse Rattling Blanket Woman Rain in the Face Chief Horn Cloud Her Iron Cane and Chipps who was medicine man for Crazy Horse. He is a direct descendant of Chief Black Buffalo who refused to let Lewis & Clark land on the shore of the river at what is now Pierre SD finally relenting when they gave him tribute.   Jeff was taught Lakota sacred traditions customs & beliefs at the knee of his great-grandparents his grandparents & his parents. His first language is Lakota being a fluent speaker reader & writer. He did not begin to learn English until starting kindergarten. Jeff’s mother was a linguist & cultural specialist highly sought after by tribes across the country to help them re-establish lost cultural traditions. She was a plant medicine & energy healer. Her life is chronicled in a book Honor the Grandmothers.
