The Salt River Schools Native Language and Culture team hosts Storytelling Night with students, staff, families, and the Community on Thursday, Feb. 5, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Accelerated Learning Academy. A light meal will be served from 5:30-6 p.m. in the cafeteria while supplies last. Storytelling begins at 6:15 p.m. in the lecture hall, where listeners will be treated to traditional Oâodham and Piipaash stories. This event is free and open to all. Questions? We are excited to welcome special guest Deanna Scabby, a member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Tribal Council & Salt River Schools Education Board!
