Per our patron’s request: an addition session of Medicare 2027 has been scheduled!  Mention the word Medicare and most people feel overwhelmed — and with the sweeping changes coming in 2027, confusion is only growing. This is truly a year you cannot afford to go into unprepared. The Father/Daughter Team of Lou and Jessica Pelletier will guide you through the new Medicare landscape for 2027, including:  Plans being eliminated or discontinued for 2027 and what that means for current enrollees  How these eliminations may force plan changes, premium shifts, or new enrollment decisions  The redesigned Medicare drug plan rules, costsharing updates, and benefit changes rolling out in 2027  A clear breakdown of Medicare Parts A – Hospital Coverage B – Physician & Outpatient Coverage D – Prescription Drug Coverage You’ll also learn the pros and cons of Medicare Supplement Plans vs. Medicare Advantage Plans, how IRMAA (Income Related Monthly Adjusted Amount) works, what Medicare Savings Programs can help with, and why every family should have a Medical Power of Attorney in place. This workshop is ideal for seniors, adult children, and anyone who wants to stay ahead of the curve as Medicare undergoes one of its most significant shifts in years. With plans disappearing and new rules taking effect, this is absolutely a class you don’t want to miss for 2027. This program runs about 90 minutes. Please register so we can set the community room up with appropriate seating. Co-Sponsored by the Avon Library & Avon Senior Center
