SPIRIT WEEK The Sizer Student Ambassadors are busy planning all the fun events happening at the end of the month including a Duck Hunt, Food Pantry Drive and Color Wars competition! After surveying the student body, we used their suggestions to create our Spirit Week Agenda: Monday, Oct. 27 is Pajama Day - Keepân it casual to start the week, donât forget your slippers. Tuesday. Oct. 28 is Color Wars - Random selection gave us: 7th Grade: Green 8th Grade: Purple 9th Grade: Red 10th Grade: Blue 11th Grade: Pink 12th Grade: Orange The winning Grade will be decided by % of the grade who participate. Winning Advisory gets a Pizza Party. Wednesday. Oct. 29 is Staff/Student Dress Reversal - Students dress like teachers (or their favorite teacher) and staff dress like students! 7th & 8th Grade Costume Party On Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 5-8 PM the Student Ambassadors are hosting a Costume Party in the cafe for 7th & 8th grade students. Entry is free. There will be a movie and popcorn to start the event followed by a costume contest, card readings, and other contests & competitions. CHAPERONES NEEDED Thursday, Oct. 30 - Mismatch Day - The wilder the outfit, the better chance you might win an On-The-Spot prize from the Wheel of Positivity! Duck Hunt Thursday On Thursday, Oct. 30 there will be DUCKS hidden all over the school. Find a duck and keep it as your prize - find a duck with a specially marked bottom and trade that duck in for a BEE! Every special duck can be traded for an authentic Sizer School bee! Friday. Oct. 31 - Freaky or Formal Friday - Wear your costumes to celebrate the holiday or Dress to the Nines and make it a Formal Friday - you decide! The Senior Class has some fun cooking for this Formally Freaky Friday so stay tuned! ALL SPIRIT WEEK LONG Sizer Food Pantry Drive The Advisory that collects the most food/supplies for the Sizer School Food Pantry will win a pizza party. Second place wins a Cookie Party. Under the Sea Homecoming Dance Saturday The Student Ambassadors are planning your 9th-12th grade homecoming dance. The event will be held Saturday, Nov 1 from 6-9 PM. Student Guest forms  are due Thursday, Oct. 30 and can be found HERE or outside Mrs. Alweiss office! CHAPERONES NEEDED

Boys & Girls Club visits Lunches

Rocco Spagnuolo, Director of Youth Development and Community Outreach at the Boys & Girls Club, is going to be visiting Sizer School to set up a promotional table during lunches on Tuesday, Nov. 4 to promote the Boys & Girls Club.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters visits Lunches

Tessa Poirier, Senior Match Support and Success Team Member for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America will have a table set up during lunches on Thursday, Nov. 6. She will be promoting the program in order to start a chapter here at Sizer School!
