Join us for a buzzing good time at Pollinator Palooza! This family-friendly event is all about celebrating bees, butterflies, and other pollinators that keep our gardens growing strong. Event Highlights: Live Butterfly Tent– Step into a magical enclosure and experience butterflies up close. Royal Oak, West Bloomfield, Clinton Township and Plymouth locations only Dearborn Heights and Eastpointe will have live butterflies for viewing. Free Educational Seminars – Learn how to support pollinators in your own backyard. How to Create a Pollinator Garden: Saturday 6/21 at 10am. The Power of Native Plants: Sunday 6/22 at 12pm. Why butterflies are important helpers in our gardens Our garden guides will lead the group through this fun, age-appropriate activity that brings the world of pollinators to life. Grab your lawn chairs and a drink from a local restaurant (we're in a social district!) and come spend the day in our downtown park- Ray's Ice-cream will be selling ice-cream in the park and Motor City Hot Dogs will be parked, for a convenient quick bite. Make sure you stop by the info booth and purchase an event t-shirt! The music will feature a lineup of musicians within the Funk, R&B and Jazz genres.
