On May 6th, Cinco’s will raise money for the Epping High School Junior Prom Committee. Cinco’s Cantina, with locations in Dover, Epping, and Rochester, hosts Fiesta Fundraisers every Tuesday in May. Dine in, take out, or order delivery, you must mention you are supporting the Fiesta Fundraiser and 20% of participating sales will be donated to the featured organization.

The class will focus on each individual to help everyone find their voice or style, and what it means to develop one's skill set in painting and hone one's vision. We will emphasize strengths and build a plan to address weaknesses. We will look at known artists to see what characteristics and attributes they have and how they might be instructive in the development of the students needs. We will talk about identity, goals, experience, dedication, schooling and the formal aspects of painting. All forms of painting are welcome; oils, acrylics, watercolor, gouache and even collage. Join us for Junior Science at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. We are excited to invite junior scientists (ages 3.5–5 years old) to our April sessions, offered on either Monday mornings or Tuesday afternoons! This 45 minute drop-off class includes a story or felt board activity, followed by a fun experiment, and a related art project to take home. Grown-ups are welcome to stay in the building during class time, and families with siblings may opt to play on the second floor during the class time—please note that the museum is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesday afternoons. Cost is Members $48/child; Non-Members $60/child. Pre-registration is required. STEAM programs at the Museum are sponsored in part by Granite State Development Corporation and Breezeline. Join the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and our Morning Mixer sponsor First Seacoast Bank for our May Morning Mixer, hosted by Residence at Silver Square.    This fast-paced, structured, speed networking program starts promptly at 8am, ensuring participants make it through all stations before the end of the hour. Participants arriving after 8am will be assigned a station if there is a station available; any participants unassigned to a station are welcome to stay until the end of the program for general networking.   Each station will have two minutes to share information. After the two minutes are up, one participant will move to the next station and the timer will begin again. The average participant makes 10-15 new contacts in the hour-long session. Bring 40+ business cards to share while networking.

On May 13, Cinco’s Cantina will host a Fiesta Fundraiser for Dover Youth Softball League. Dover Youth Softball League (DYSL) serves players from ages 4 – 16 who are residents of New Hampshire in Dover, Somersworth, Rollinsford or Portsmouth and Maine residents from Berwick, So. Berwick, No. Berwick, and Eliot.   DYSL offers recreational, yet competitive, spring season softball which focuses on learning basic fundamentals of the game and the enjoyment of competitiveness.  In addition, players who desire greater competition are encouraged to compete for spots on the summer all-star teams which present higher challenges and more instruction in the finer points of girls softball.
